Creswick arts and culture fans will have the chance to catch top quality creativity close to home in 2026, thanks to the latest round of grants to help regional communities stage more live shows in local venues.
Member for Ripon Martha Haylett today announced a grant of more than $12,000 to CresFest through the latest round of the Allan Labor Government’s Small Regional Presenters program, which provides grants to community groups and not-for-profit organisations to help them present shows in their area.
CresFest is a three-day dance and music festival which takes over the streets of Creswick and it’s gearing up for its fifth-year next month.
CresFest is one of 13 Victorian community groups and not-for-profit organisations to receive support in this round.
The Small Regional Presenters program is a Victorian Government initiative delivered by Regional Arts Victoria.
Along with attracting top quality artists to regional venues, the program helps to build local skills and grow talent in regional locations.
