The State Labor Government is continuing its investment in Victorian schools - ensuring every student has access to high-quality, inclusive learning environments that support their educational needs and future opportunities.
Member for Ripon Martha Haylett today announced $18.097 million for Maryborough Education Centre for an upgrade and modernisation project, including a new special needs building for the school's SDS cohort as well as to complete the remaining all-abilities track.
The funding includes $0.664 million allocated in the 2025-26 State Budget to begin planning.
This is part of a $1.6 billion pre-budget education infrastructure package.
