Labor is making sure every child has access to world-class early learning.

63 kinders across the state will share in $12.3 million to improve their centres.

Building Blocks Improvement grants help kinders upgrade, refurbish and renovate. 

This includes learning spaces, outdoor play areas and staff spaces and amenities. 

Member for Ripon Martha Haylett announced today that Goldfields Family Centre kinder will receive almost $150,000 in funding to upgrade its playground – including creating a nature-based play area and learning features.

Labor has invested more than $44 million in 361 kinder upgrade projects across Victoria.

More than 570,000 children have benefited from Free Kinder since 2023.

The Liberals cut $1 billion from education when they were last in office – they even cut free fruit Fridays.

Now they have a $40 billion black hole in their Budget, and that just means more cuts that hurt kids.
