A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will commit $4.5 million for upgrades to one of Victoria’s most historically significant sites and much-loved community spaces, the Maryborough Olympic Outdoor Pool Complex.
Mallee candidate Greg Olsen today welcomed the election commitment to support Stage 1 of the project, revitalising the pool complex to ensure it remains a key hub for the local community and future generations.
This project includes the redevelopment of changeroom facilities to accommodate people with disabilities.
This election commitment reflects the Albanese Labor Government’s focus on regional development, ensuring that communities in Mallee have access to modern and high-quality facilities.
Consistent with past practice, the delivery of this project will be in accordance with the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
